Another reason to get involved in fish clubs is that people are always selling / trading stuff, usually quite inexpensively. Way better than the randomness of social media, Craigslist, etc. I've got a couple of used 55s that I was given sitting in my yard as we speak. Free for the pick-up in western MoCo, MD if someone would like one.

Yep...glass went up during the plandemic. But shipping went WAY up. I would bet thats whats driving a lot of the price hiking on large aquariums in particular.
Luckily for my wallet I bought an old farm house from 1912. Pretty nice place but I would NOT TRUST anything bigger than a 125g on the floors. If I had a concrete floor I’d be on my third mortgage buying monster tanks
Im wondering if theres a canopy for that tank somewhere in the basement.
