Read up a lot last night on the Jamanxims.
I'm mostly seeing pictures of smaller ones and the ones for sale that I found are also on the smaller side.
Lots of black with thin gold lines similar in color to my Araguaia, but generally much darker overall.
Much of what I've found online refers to these ones as the Thunder. They aren't, right?
When they get larger are they basically like a slightly darker Araguaia with a longer head and more torpedo shape?
There were two at the store. One maybe 5" and a smaller one roughly 4". The smaller had more black but the gold appeared to pop a bit more. i think the smaller might have had slightly nicer fins too. I know royal patters change a lot as they grow, is there something one should look for in determining the "better" fish?
How common, or not, are the Jamanxims?
