still got cloudy water ....

about 2 weeks ago i did a small water change and water still was cloudy so i tested my water and my nitrite were bad alkalinity was bad so i 25% water change and put some aquaurium salt in there and it is still cloudy after 3 days....i will get water levels soon....any suggestions ??

What kind of filtration do you have?

I don't have an FX5 so I can't be of real help...

but maybe your mechanical filtration isn't sufficient or it got clogged? Sorry, not sure how FX5s work...

Wow, that is seriously cloudy. Was it always this cloudy? Someone in another thread also had an FX5 and his tank suddenly became cloudy.

Nitrite and Alkalinity are bad, what do you mean by this, can you post actual levels? Do you test your ammonia levels also? How long has this tank/ filter been set up?

no ive had it crystal clear before alot of times but yeah i just switched some lights out and i think i got too much lighting and its causing the water to turn greenish

here are my lvls nitrite 0 ppm Nitrate 40 ppm ph 7.0 ammonia 0 ppm high range ph 7.4.... any sugggestions ?????
