Well tonight I finally got my 600 gallon tank all tore down and stand back into pieces. The 600 gallon was much harder going up than it was going down into the basement. Almost has me thinking how I can get away without using it ever again but I want and need the space for the rays. Huge mess to clean up now after everything was said and done and I'm about wore out for the day.
Thing I found interesting alone the way.
The bulkhead nuts are really fragile after a few years, definitely be careful and always have backups on hand. Could save you.
I had tons enough pvc for the great Wall to get plumbing.
Clean up is 3/4 of the battle
If you think a dirty sump is bad never look I your overflow after years of time. The discovery channel could discover some new types of gunk or be set for dirty jobs worst out takes easily.
Overall though happy for some help and hope to have a first floor fish room with a garage door and a forklift and people who can come enjoy vs feel put to work helping with lifting stupid heavy tanks. But with big rays comes big tanks and spaces.
