20180529_135318.jpg I know the problem now is that no fish are swimming around and around in the tiny puddle. Trust me it was hard not to throw in a couple yesterday. Lol.

I've always admired them. I just can't add another to the list.

I get a lot of my filtration designs from ray keepers. Excellent job start to finish. Any details on putting in your viewing window? Like did you use a ledge and did it adhere well to the plywood coating?

My apologies if I missed it

Wow I was amazed, so many pictures looking in at lots of angles but nothing really showing the window ledge area. Here you go.
I used normal GE silicone and it holds super super strong. We will put it this way I was trying to remove a window from the old plywood 400 gallon I had which was just a touch smaller than this window but figured hey ill reuse save a little money, I was fighting it like crazy to get it out and ended up breaking the window it was so strong of a bond. It would rather break the plywood a few layers down then give up on the silicone or the epoxy coating. And we all should know how strong plywood being glued all together is. After doing that I will never second guess holding power and also never wish anyone the task of removing a window off a setup like this.

You can just see a touch of it in this picture, bottom right, guess I didn't want to show the mess of construction going on.

here is a pic today of it through the water. its a 3/4 thick strip of plywood that I sized to give me the overlap i wanted but also support the window. way better than say a 2/4 there almost sits flush with window. The tricky part was trying to get fiberglass mat to make the double step with such tight bends. I ended up not being able to do it so the window area only get resin right around the window. Also I think this makes a much smoother better sealing area for the window as well but yes can be in some ways not as strong but honestly everything else is really strong and the window its self adds some strength to that area with rigidity. (I still need to clean up silicone on the outside of window)

Looks brilliant, was definitely worth the wait and the hard work!

What's the filtration like to manage that beast?

The pup / grow out room all up and running also?
