Parameters are pH 6.6 , Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0 and I'm 100% certain my nitrate test is ineffective because it says on all 7 of my tanks the nitrate level is 160+ ppm but I assure you that's not the case. Fish would be dying left and right. I would assume the nitrates are pretty low based on ammonia and nitrites in here and I'm running a sump with over 100 lbs of biomedia, an fx6 and multiple sponge filters on a 450 gallon tank...
Wish I had good news to report, but nothing has changed as of yet. Did another water change today ~60% and she’s still eating. No real signs of weight gain, but she’s not any skinnier. Not really sure what else I can do at this point. I lightly salted the other day, I don’t want to stress out the other rays, but I might hit the tank with some Prazi on the off chance it’s parasitic.... just wouldn’t make a lot of sense to me since no one else in the tank is showing signs of anything.... still happily open to suggestions. I might gently creep up the salt levels this weekend and add some prazi to cover for bacterial and parasitic. But right now I’m puzzled ?Any updates?
