Also, mine is only going to hold 3-4 scobinas for life.. it would get to small for motoros.. You cant house 3 motoros for more than 4-5 years in a 300 gallon.. You need to think bigger bruce..

Im almost positive I will be going 8'x4'x2' as long as I can find the lumber at that size because I dont want to cut it at all.
My other qusetion, is a 40 gallon sump ok to filter this pond or am I going to need to get a bigger filter?
Also where can I find a heater for this pond and what will that cost me about?
