I sure hope so.. between my wife popping out a baby any day now and spending today traveling to my grandma's funeral, hopefully someone can pull some strings and get me a copy.

If I get a copy ~ I will do the biggest darn write up MFK has ever seen :D

Wow sorry to here about you losing your grandma. My prayers go out that she rests in peace.

haha thanks wasnt fishing for sympathy just stating it was really bad timing this weekend.. and even if I had made plans to go (baby pending) that I still probably would have missed it.. If ya'll haven't noticed I am not a very compassionate person

not to mention I am not financially stable enough to drop a few grand for what most people would consider a 'glorified fish meet'.. but we all know it was much more than that..

kids are expensive.. and the dang thing isn't even here yet!

The event was amazing. I enjoyed every minute of the event and want to thank everyone who organized it and all the attendees. The taxonomy discussions were very fascinating. It seems like there is a lot of confusion between species just being variants and vice versa. Also learning about the DNA being so similar in all the different species, showing how close they are related is very astounding.
looking forward to the dvd

Amazongirl - so are you saying that what most people call 'menchacai' tiger rays are just a variant of what the hobby knows as schroederi, the true Colombian flowers? Very cool, and completely understandable seeing some of the 'tiger' pics that have a pattern halfway between the two.

About how many people showed up for it?
