stingray up & down

hey my stingray is facing the glass and swimming up and down over and over again. is this normal?

its normal for the ray to go up and down

i hope the rocks are fitted in firm as once the ray gets bigger they will fall down for sure

Yep, normal.. Might have to look at losing the gravel the bottom of the ray looks really red.

From what i can see those rocks are artificial and made up of one mould,i would be more worried if theres any gaps around the edges where the tiny ray could possibly get trapped,im sure your not daft and have already thought of this.
The behaviour like everyone says is normal,active Rays are generally healthy Rays.

I agree with everyone else on the activity of the ray that is normal but u should get rid of the substrate and replace with some non silica based sand, the bottom of the ray is really red and thats not good,u could end up with a bigger problem on your hands,abrasions on the ray can cause some serious fungal problems so I would replace the substrate as soon as possible!!!

and take the rock thing out you will need the space sooner rather than later
