Stingrays TEXAS

Are all Freshwater Stingrays illegal in Texas. I have been calling Texas Parks and Wildlife, no answer. Can permits be pulled to have one or three the legal way? I just want to know ASAP, because if they are I can get my mind off of them. Thanks

Meaning they can not be imported from South America? Or if they are already here in the States can they be shipped to Texas?

all freshwater rays are illegal for you.... because stupid people release thier pets into water... and its warm enough down there for them to survive..... so its illegal to own them

Texas will not issue permits to private owners for the most part.

lol i would want them to survive since theres a ban on a lot of rays from brazil.. and some being endangered too
