Did you try to re-create the smell with tank water and pulverized flakes (outside the tank?)
Did you have someone else confirm that they smell the same smell as you do?
Must be frustrating.

Yes there is no mistaking the smell. I am going to try a UV sterilizer and if that doesn't work the tank is getting moved to the garage.
Ok I keep getting repeat post so I'm gunna say it again. All happens with every food. Yes everyone can smell it. Yes I do water changes. No the filters are not dirty, yes all of my fish are accounted for, it would be hard to miss a 12-15'' dead fish. There is no mold growing in the canopy or lids, not sure how mold would make my fish food make my tank stink.
Update: Last night I did a massive water change. Removed All of my filter floss and cleaned the large filter pad. Today I fed the fish like normal, but I spanned the feeding over a 20-30minute time frame. About 1hour after the last feeding the smell is back and subsides after 30-45minutes.
