stock my 125

Striped Raphael cats get like 7" and are nice cats. There are also numerous others. I would keep the gt if you want and try a severum or two, perhaps a jd, a firemouth?, etc You're options are endless, just because you have a gt doesn't mean you can't get some cool fish in there just stay away from the bigger/meaner stuff and the fronts..

also, if you take the more docile approach and plant a good section of your tank, you should look into a jewel, mine is taking on really nice pinkish red colors, and does well with my firemouth and severum, and has more personality than most fish.

also, an all time favorite is clown loaches, and fire eels. my loach dissapeared and my eel died of carpet poisening, so i cant really comment too much on those, but they were badass while they lasted.

Also a good idea. If you have room in another tank for the gt, then I would use the 125g for fronts or a jag, or trimac, etc. :headbang2

6 tinfoil barbs or bala sharks and 6 clown loaches for the GT to push around

and my only camera willing fish, salvinni. this fish takes on breeding pairs of cons, and a 11" oscar all the time, though he is only about 2.5" right now.

Put the GT in a show(by itself) 55 or 60....Use that 125 for some seriuos Monster schoolers, like: PIRANHA:FIREdevil ........

do a dovii or any fish outa the parachromis complex besides a jag...lol

I think a V. Synspilum would work... They get big, and are GORGIOUS cichlids. Those two plus a lima shovelnose cat, and perhaps 5 silver dollars would be a very nice tank.

GT's are the ****...my oscar is my center peice but my gt demands attention in my 125 i have a j.d. a oscar 2 convicts 2 gt's, 3 balas, a common and 2 gold fish...and some rosies and ghost shrimp...
