Stocking a 125 gallon predator tank

For natives, maybe 6 sunfish.

Sunfish don't make good tank mates with pickerel, I've read this on here like hundreds of times... Plus once they become full grown they'll get rather aggressive in a tank this size.

I kept sunnies, bass and pickerel together...no issues. Sunnies only bother other sunnies when they get territorial.

What's a tank mate that is just as aggressive as a Red Tail Cuda or a Grass Pike that will do good in a 125 for the remainder of its life.

grew them out in a 55 and then into a 310. they even schooled together.

I don't know... A 125 is a small tank.. I foresee issues with Sunfish and a Pike

I was thinking of just sunfish, not a pike.

Pink tail chalceus are awesome. Pretty unique scaling and mean look, plus they smash food and grow fast. Best of all they leave everything alone unless they want to eat it, they can kill and eat parts of fish less than half their size
