how big were your cichlid's when you guys stared, i started with 5'' do you thing that is why,

A lot of mine were added around 3-4", but I have had some at 2" and some at 6".

Thanks man.

I think Ive had alot of luck. Ive added some 6"+ fish without too much incident. If you want to know where to get these cool fish if you cant find them in your area Ill point you in the right direction.:naughty:

How do ya feel about a Front in there? I guess they do better in groups, but mine doesnt seem to know any better. He does hide whenever someone approches the 75 gallon tank.
I see no nimbochromis. Omission by design? Or would they work too?
I am also looking at red empress and as I said, an azeurus, so safe to say all medium sized haps will work?
How about Victorians? I see these mixed in at the LFS, but what are your thoughts?

Ive only kept small Fronts before and they got picked on. Theres no telling what they will be like as adults with your Haps and Peacocks for the sake of the Front I wouldnt put it in there.

HAHA Nimbochromis are pretty fish but the 3 that ive had were meanies and they had to go, you may get a "nice" one or try adding a small one when the rest of your fish get big.

Ive seen Vics in a Malawi tank but have never kept any myself.

I am definitely gonna get a Phenochilus. Those are bad ass!
I am waiting on Dave to get some grown out!
And, I do not need help with where to get fish, I am within 200 miles of some fantastic suppliers, 2 of whom are in Austin where I go monthly!
I have also had tremendous success having friends on the way here stop by Dave's Rare fish in SA and bring them to me.

Next phase: Holey rock.

Here's what ya get for $.13/# in my neighborhood! Not perfect...doesn't stand up perfectly, but hey, I think it looks pretty groovy! Whatya think?

I have one more piece, a large flat one I can put in, but I don't want to clutter up the swimming spaces.
Here is a pic.
