Oh an as for the silver arow, when he got to big for the tank would he thrive in an outdoor pond in south FL..

And as for the geos I guess ill have to devot a tank to them and fish they would get along with. No ideas dont now much about tank mates for geos but i really like them. Im guessing a calmer SA type tank ?

Not in a 24" wide tank

Yeah right. 4' fish in a 2' wide tank? Not cool

Rtc's grow really fast and will probably try to eat your fish at some point.

I have the same size tank. I'd honestly pick 4-6 fish you like and see how it goes, but I think a pair of festae would be pushing it. I have a single female in mine with a Jd, Midas and Freddy. All is good...... for now. Time will tell

2 Jds (pair)
2 veija synspilum (pair)
2 Green terror (pair)
2 Ornatum (same sex)
1 FL gar
1 Pictus Cat

would this work out. With some dithers in there?

What if i switch the gar out for a silver aro and put him in my pond when he out grows that 24" footprint..

If you meant a four lined pim and not pictus I don't see why it wouldn't. You might have some problems with all those breeding pairs. People underestimate the aggression of adult Jack Dempsey's. They have that name for a reason, especially a breeding pair.

I know many people with some wicked Jds but luckily my pair when spawing dont mess with their tank mates. How aggressive do GT tend to be during spawing?
