I am getting a 75 gallon tank in 2 weeks and i for sure want a lima shovelnose, but from my old stock(which i will list below)i figure i have about 18-24" left of fish i could put in my tank with a filter made for a 75 gallon tank. this said means i could get a few inches more of fish if i buy a larger filter. So, the big question is, any stocking ideas for a 48" length by 18" width by 20" height(75 gallons) with 18-24" (with a 75 gallon filter) of stocking space left? What i had in mind is in the poll and just to let everyone know, the fish will be around 5 inches when i would buy.
Current Stock
1x 7" senegal bichir
1x 5" iridescent shark
1x 6" rtbs
1x 7" clown knife

I think you are fully stocked already. Most the fish you have will out grow your tank in the very near future. Not sure where you are getting this 18-24 inches of space left, but I'd stick with what you have and get ready to upgrade again soon.

You need more clown loaches. They like to be in groups. And oscarcrazy is right. Those fish will outgrow your tank.
Clown KNIFE is on his stocklist, not loach. That is one of the cathces. The knife will get over 24 inches in aquaria.

Oh, the poll.... Gotta say no to all of them with your stock as it is. The banded shark isn't tropical and gets over 36 in.

yeah you are going to have to upgrade once the biggest fish hits 12 inches.

you'll need a larger tank, but for now go with the sen, rtbs, and the silver dollars

Clown knife, lima shovenose, high fin sharks, Iridescant sharks will all out grow a 75 some will out grow it pretty fast

i would go for the clown loaches they would last a while in a 75

By 18''-24'' of fish left i hope your not following the 1'' of fish per gallon rule thats a pretty crappy rule which will lead you to a very over stocked tank

I think hi-fins and clown loaches don't math (aesthetically) with your existing stock, but silver dollars do.
