the sun cats aren't getting as big as channel cats

I never say they get same size of channel catfish, they only reach the size of medsized 15-20inches channel catfish. Still the sun catfish are big catfish.

did you read my current stock list post??? bottom of page 2.

yeah, I did.

New to the site, but definitely not to the hobby. They're right my friend. Don't over extend yourself its a very poor decision. Although you think the lfs or larger aquarium owner will take a larger fish from you, things happen and they may not. Even though you can right now it's never a good idea to keep a bear in the basement if you know what I mean.

i think it woud be awesome to dedicate it just to silver dollars

I am getting a 75 gallon tank in 2 weeks and i for sure want a lima shovelnose, but from my old stock(which i will list below)i figure i have about 18-24" left of fish i could put in my tank with a filter made for a 75 gallon tank. this said means i could get a few inches more of fish if i buy a larger filter. So, the big question is, any stocking ideas for a 48" length by 18" width by 20" height(75 gallons) with 18-24" (with a 75 gallon filter) of stocking space left? What i had in mind is in the poll and just to let everyone know, the fish will be around 5 inches when i would buy.
Current Stock
1x 7" senegal bichir
1x 5" iridescent shark
1x 6" rtbs
1x 7" clown knife
THIS THREAD IS NO LONGER NEEDED TO BE COMMENTED ON AS I HAVE IMMENSELY CHANGED MY MIND.

There are definately other fish I would chose first, but out of that list I would take the silver dollars.
