Stocking a Biocube 29

hermits disapear quickly in my biocube land haha i get 4 or 5 weekly.



i highly recomend a hand held refractometer. i have the RHS-10ATC model and paied 50$ for it. best 50 $ ever. very easy to use clean and read. only reason i recomend it is i had the stick on glass one before and it was inaccurate because of bubbles on the needle ect. ( yes i did take it out and washed it )

Interesting. Thanks for the tip! I currently have one of the plastic Red Sea ones. I wash it in Fresh Water after use.

How many blue-legged hermit crabs can I do? I have 6 in there now.

i usally have about 20 in there @ a time
( someone correct me if this is wrong but never had a problem and they keep my alge down )

i got 15 in one and like 10 in the other.. the one with ten i hardly even notice them..
i usually say a crab and/or snail per gallon.. they die.. i getmore.. they dont.. it's clean as hell

of course my biggest SW tank right now isn only 29 gallons so maybe that has something to do with it..
