A Betta with a couple ghost shrimp for clean up would be good. She'll have as much fun watching the ghost shrimp as she will the Betta. There's really not much room in there for anything else.

I'd go with ghost shrimp or maybe a ramshorn snail. I've had the best luck if I remove the betta for a few minutes while introducing the shrimp/snail and then putting the betta back in.
If he eats the ghost shrimp, you're out 30 cents. Most stores will give away ramshorns for free and you can get them in a variety of colours if you look hard enough for them.
