ok, guys.. May have to re-think how to stock this tank.. I would like to have a few larger fish in this tank. Not sure how many of the Mbunas would be in the 6"+ range.. Mike, if you were to stock this tank with mbunas, which species would you have and how many??
I also have the 46 bow available, which Am not sure whether to keep or not. Perhaps, I could do one species of Vics in that tank. Not sure yet..

greenearthlawns ... Thanks for the tip.. I like to avoid aggression as much as possible..
Geo

Ps. I do have a Tangerine Nyererey (possible hybrid) mixed with the Mbunas, and doing fine.. (although, they may not be mature enough (6mo). Does that apply to Haps also?? ex. Red empress

Post a picture of your Nyererei......how big is he?

Are P. Socolofis too aggressive for this 120gl tank with Yellow labs, Rusties, Afras, and Aceis??

Be careful with getting a sp.44. I have kept them for 20yrs, the are the most aggressive Victorian I know of.

Your Nyererey in your avatar, looks a little similar to my Nyererey, except for the color on top. My is probably a cross from a Makombe and something else, that's why they called Tangerine.. My is also alone at this time, perhaps he has not colored up to his full potential..

Your tank is beautiful, you should be very proud!

I happy you like your Victorian....lots of them out there....why not add some?

Your Nyererei is probably a hybrid.....
