yeah, royal plecos are wood eaters so will need to make sure you have lots of driftwood in the tank, also with pH adjuster you have a higher chance of having a pH crash and that is where problems arise, i would take out any limestone and try to find rocks that are chemically inert (dont leach anything into the water) and then just add driftwood, this will be good for the royals and for softening the water and as long as the pH is stable, this is more important with tankbred fish than necessarily being right at 7, especially since a lot of centrals come from hard water anyways. just dont have anything in the tank hardening the water and you should be fine. and yeah you def wont be able to keep all 7 salvini, they are super mean and will kill each other off once a pair forms and matures
