You mentioned you Definitely want a Silver aro. Why not go with a Black aro instead? they are more rare than silvers and have the nice bluish color on their fins and tail! And blacks don't get as big as a silvers do. Add maybe some frontosa's and clown loaches. Just an idea... :-)

I would get a school of 6 clown loaches, a medium sized pleco around 10" and a spiny eel like a zebra or peacock.

Silvers get too big and require at least 200 gallons, and that's pushing it...

How come no one helped him out for so long???

Thanks for the idea. I am setting up my tank on this sunday. and will post pics when everything is in the tank since a 120 isn't that special lol.

Some large sized south or central american cichlids.
I am going to do a cichlid tank when I get my own house. Thank you for the ideas.

100 exodons would be sweet.
I am getting exodons in my 30 gallon tank like 12 of them. It would be sweet though for a 100 of them in the 120. Thanks for the idea

Do you realize your jardini will most likely destroy everyone else? Jardinis are one of the most aggressive species of arowanas. I had one and it kept destroying anyone I introduced except the striped Raphael and bichirs who were able to take refuge among the driftwoods.
Yeah. I have had one for awhile. He is really aggressive and takes down fish twice his size, it is 5-6 inches right now. What i have learned from Jardini is that if you have them together as babies/ juveniles they do not seem to kill those fish. anything after the initial, co inhabitants get massacred. I concur with bottom feeders being fine with protection

That's pushing your gallons/filter, two poo makers like a jar and a pleco
I have two fluvial 405s which are rated up to 70 gallons a piece. not sure what gph is. they are at my moms house. still a problem? jw

a jardini is about 150 gallons to himself, the pleco would rate about 60...

1.Silver Aro
2. Fire eel
3. Silverdollars
4. Fei feng flagtail
5. Uaru
6. Severums
this would make a cool tank

until they all kill each other!
some MFK'ers are strange, I tell ya...
