a jardini is about 150 gallons to himself, the pleco would rate about 60...
I have read one 125 gallon minimum for a jardini and on other websites 180g. because max size is 2 feet and 4 inches or there abouts.l will get rid of the pleco than. just for you :) lol. at least he will not feel overcrowed he will be all alone :(

1.Silver Aro
2. Fire eel
3. Silverdollars
4. Fei feng flagtail
5. Uaru
6. Severums
this would make a cool tank

I wish i had a big enough tank for those that would be awesome :grinno:

hmm African Aro would be cool. Why not GOODEIDS? They are VERY agressive and easy to breed! You could do 80 of em' in your tank!
GOODEIDS? I am unfamiliar to that which you are speaking about. lol

You mentioned you Definitely want a Silver aro. Why not go with a Black aro instead? they are more rare than silvers and have the nice bluish color on their fins and tail! And blacks don't get as big as a silvers do. Add maybe some frontosa's and clown loaches. Just an idea... :-)
I would love to do this idea. maybe not frontosas but severum or something. i need a 240. which im going to buy in a year or two. thats how i reward myself for getting goods grades lol

Get a bigger tank, a 120gallon is way too small for any arowanna.
we will see. worse comes to worse i upgrade in a year or 2 we will see. :headbang2

if you are thinking about the jardini you might want to checkout my tank list. all of them get along great and i dont think the jar will be able to kill my mono and ornate when i add them and i just ordered a NGT datnoid LFS said he will probably be about 4" and i am awaiting a 5" ocell that i bought today. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=220279 .
But this is a growout for a 280g that i ordered about a week ago. they will all eventually go into the 280 as growth rates permit.
