Good luck. When I quit I noticed I was constantly eating something.

that i think, is the secret. sunflower seeds (in the shell), nuts, chewing gum, hard candies.. these are all EXCELLENT tools to help win the war.

eventually you'll be able to sit and watch tv, or drive, or go outside and hang with your family without having something to distract you.. but it takes time.

I thought about having a smoke all the time when I was quitting and it helped to think about how much time has passed since the last one. Knowing I was actually forcing myself to go without one really helped me. I was able to say "I havnt smoked for 2 days" and stuff like that and it made me really proud that I followed through with it. It got alot easier as time passed. Just keep up with it. Its not an easy goal.

Get a bag of baby carrots! Crunchy is good lol!

ya, now im hungry alot to, normal or not?
Oh yea. Like I said I was constantly eating. It was like a joke how often I was snacking on something. That didnt last forever of course but during the first week I ate alot. Stock up on some healthy snacks.

I haven't had a smoke now for 1.75934 years. Gained 25 lbs since though. Just watch what you substitute a cigarette with. Cookies & chips = bad. I'm now on my way down again. lol.
