My Pleco keeps trying to suck on the side of my Oscar, haha. I tried to take a pic to show yall but they wernt cooperating. Has any body else seen this before?

It means the pleco is hungry.
If it keeps happening it will weaken/ kill the oscar after awhile.

I fed both of them about a hour ago. But I could see what your talking about. It will weaken the stress coat? right?

what he is doing is stealing slim coat off the fish and after that happens your Oscar will easily get diseases and possibly die. hope he is okay

k well im prob going to pull the plecos out really soon and get some slim coat meds

What are you feeding the pleco?

The pleco isn't getting its dietary needs met.

Does it have drift wood to chew on? Does it get any blood worms or other "meat based" foods. They are omnivores that lean heavy on the veggie side, but they do NEED some meat.

Some sinking omnivore wafers, sinking (or floating even for mine) cichlid pellets are needed in addition to the algae wafers, zuccini and assorted greens.

The pleco will kill the oscar eventually, if you don't meet its dietary needs.
