Or maybe it's just me. I used to think there was some wierd stuff here in the lounge, but I just reintroduced myself to the general aquaria section... WOW! We def. have some "different" people floating around in here....

That is all.
 
HHmmm..I always find it interesting when someone feels the need to call someone else "different". In fact, most of the time I find the person needing to point out the "differences" are actually quite "different" themselves!

Ok. Listen, Im not talking about being closed minded. Take a look through the General Discussion for a few days. If you can't point out the odd threads, maybe you should be posting more! lol

By different I mean alot of things. Again, take a look. Get back to us here after a bit, maybe you're one of them too.

Must be. Sheesh. I never feel older than I do when people talk about being born in the 90's. And Im just a 70's kid!

Maybe there should be a section for 30+, where we can understand the conversations, and not scratch our heads in wonder?

Whoa way to stereotype! that's fallicious! But every group is a different breed every person iis different so that's a hasty generalization. Shouldn't the "kids" be a welcoming sign showing that the hobby is appealing to a younger generation and keeping it Alive?

This thread is pretty silly. To the op do you just mean different from you and in a negative way then its a silly thread.

I'm not going to go to and look for the "different" people, it's a public forum so it doesn't bother me when people who don't share the same opinions, beliefs, ideas, mindset, experience etc. as me post, pretty sad if all you do here is look for people who are "different". lol

I'll gladly be one of "them" if it means I'm not one of the members obsessed with pointing "them" out.
 
Obsessed? You guys are taking this far to seriously. And I never said anything about it bothering me that people had different opinions. I also find it a bit amusing that you think that I come here to look for people who are "different". Im suprised by your level of offendedness. haha.

I habor no ill feelings tward anyone on this forum. Its the internet. This thread is observational. I do find some of the threads strange. Undeniably so. This is the off topic area. And it has struck me that we have gone from dissussing the finer points of fishkeeping, to now seeing threads like "Do you talk to your fish?" I dont want to capture a bunch of threads, because it really doesnt matter. And if I did I would just be here to seek out the "different" folks.

Seems I've baited a few to join my thread. Pretty thin skin I guess.
