Strange folks around here lately.....

just not seeing the entirety of your post, that's all. the aquaria sections have always had some plain humorous & fun subjects, which plenty of members participated in.
my guess is, people wouldn't have felt so negative about "strange thread topics", as opposed to "strange folks", and: " WOW! We def. have have some "different" people floating around in here".
but I talked it over with my fish, so no problem here.

I still don't necessarily find saying "strange folks" offensive
because that doesn't necessarily mean it's automatically a negative or some kind of put down
like, some women can be strangely attractive
or some food can taste strangely good.
or strange enough, I enjoyed that strange movie in a strange sort of way,.....

well, "I" found no offense either. just making convo about aspects of why some ppl posted they were bothered.

the reason threads like that are 'fine by me' is because they kind of balance out that other forum tendency to stab someone about which food is best.

I take offense too that I was born in 96. And if you must know i started working at 14 doing 20 hour shifts. Yes some people my age arent the type that want to work for what they get but that doesn't mean everyone is like them

I don't take offense or even take a side. I observe the sides and judge the validity of them. And to my earlier post was asking the op questions about his point that is all I wasn't offended by It just clarifying it for myself.
And jacundas was clearly an attack on a particular group which makes it an invalid reason aand something um silly. Even though
I'm a 90s kid I don't care what people say or think buy I do like to understand why and go from there.
