fraid not. somethin about them wild cats....its in their jeans man. it'll all be good for about 2,3, maybe 5 years, then one day it'll turn EVIL:devil:and mutilate everything in the house, starting with the back of the couch, then it'll move onto the leather reclining chair.

they sell potato sacks for like $1, zip ties arent hard to come bye and idk how far the river is from you, add a few rocks to the sack so it sinks quicker.

naww, im kidding. cats are alright. just treat it like a puppy, give it treats, let it know you love it and it'll love you back.

Cats are pretty self sufficient. If it's going to be an outside cat, make sure it has all of its shots. If it's to be around other cats indoors, have it tested for feline diseases, etc. Make sure it has food, water and a litter box. And be prepared for scratched furniture, etc. LOL.

Sweet "N" sour sauce

the costs are food, kitty litter, vet bills, and time...

vet bills will be the most for shots, de-claw (optional), spay, etc.

i hate cleaning my kitty litter.

fyi - a cat in heat is the worst!!!!

vet bills, there goes my textbook (and booze) money..

she said the cat is a boy... she decided (don't ask me why) that the cat is also *** and I should buy a designer collar for the "baby shower".

you guys think it'll make it? she said the cat is small enough to be held in her palms...

is it expensive to have a cat? i'm a poor college student barely scrapping by. :p

welcome to stray cat ownership ming!:D :headbang2 :nilly:

my little girl was a stray kitten herself

this month will make her two years old and two years since she was brought to us.

she was a 3 week old stray kitten, she was seperated from her mother and lost for a day and a half in the cold world, she was brought to us by my aunt. with alot of problem: diarhea, fleas, tapeworm, dehyradration, and on the brink of starvation. After quite afew visits to the vet: shots, deworm, meds, spay, etc, etc and ALOT of TLC. cost about a 1000 bucks.....at least she was free

take it to a vet to get its shots, be sure to properly get it on kitty litter...

worse case (which happened to me) is that its from feral parents and destroys everything in your apartment....

what do you mean? they're not as tame as a breeder's cat?
that just isnt true, i bet all you needed was to set rules and train them, cats dont come preprogramed.

Feral cats are the offspring of domesticated cats that were abandoned by their owners or that strayed into wild areas from their homes. When the domesticated cats mated, their offspring were never handled by or associated with humans, making their kittens feral. But obviously they had human contact, which was you, so....i think you gave them alittle tooooo much freedom:naughty:

besides, most feral kittens have little chance of surviving more than a few months and are vulnerable to starvation, disease and even flea-induced anemia.
