streetbikes?

Is this your first motorcycle? If so, I would recommend something smaller than a 600cc to start with. Of course when I started riding 3 years ago, I went out and bought an 01 Kawi ZX6R because the bike had like 2500 miles on it and was yellow as opposed to the typical Kawi green :D All the bikes you listed are solid too.

I would also highly encourage getting your motorcycle endorsement (license). As I started riding and meeting other riders, I was amazed at how many just get by with a temporary license and do not go through any formal training. There is a government sponsor program that is taught at a local school on the weekends that will get you said training AND a slip to bypass the BMV driving exam (they administer the exam in a much less stressful environment).

Also, you won't catch me on my bike without a helmet, nor any passenger of mine. If you ride without a helmet you are taking unnecessary risks - strictly my opinion and I stand by it :headbang2

Best of luck and stay safe!

Yep i totaly agree with you on everything. Yess i have rode dirtbikes and my families motorcycles and i do fine (from riding dirtbikes and fourwheelers all my life). I am going to be taking a class soon from the harley shop near me, and i will ALWAYS wear a helmet. I cant stand seeing the people ride around with their helmet on the side of their motorcycles! always been stressed to wear helmets and now its burned into me :)

Oh man, LOVE enduros.

I got my 09' 675 for 9k brand new. Worth looking onto. They will out handle all those other bikes and are faster than all but the r6. Best part is they have enough torque to keep u wanting to ride it for a few years instead of wanting to trade up to a a 1000cc class. Only prob is parts are expensive....so don't crash. But all the bikes but the busa are good choices so I'm sure ul be happy with any of them

That is the worst, I agree.

If you had the cash, I would look at a Ducati 848. The latest model has the option of this matte Black finish.... oh so sexy!
If I ever upgrade from my Kawi, this is the bike I would buy.

i had two gsxr 600 both got stolen was a 05 and the other 08, really what you need to do is sit on them if they arent comfy to sit on you wont like it, really should stick with the smaller bike to start off on. but i started with 600 and did fine, when my first bike got stolen i went lookin at all sorts of them from honda, to yamaha, and etc. but i kept with suzuki cause they are cheap to fix comfy to ride on. If your not happy with the bike you wont be later in time, really depends on what you are going to do with your bike cause worst case put a crash cage on the bike while learning on it, save fearing and money. than when you feel safe just get frame sliders. Next bike i will get will be the 848 only problem i have with it is the dry clutch, the truimph are 3 cyclinders so when your riding on it sounds like your supercharged, so if you dont mind the whine go for it. all bikes have the pro and cons. just look into alot before choosing the bike and youll be happier in the long run.

bro im 30 mins away from tampa, i live in NPR. and man that sucks dude. how did they get stolen? and yeah true that on the "if you dont like it now, you wont later". if i feel the smallest thing i dont like thats not minor, i shouldnt get the bike =S
