Stupid Neighbors

I got 3 traps from home depot today. I am going to set them out tonight. Although I doubt it will make a dent in the cat population in my neighborhood. Lots of crazy cat ladies. Its really gonna stink if I starting trapping them and taking them to the animal shelter only to have her crazy ass go and get them.

I still need reccomendations for a dog.

If you don't want a large dog or a kickme yapper look into a jack russel, smart, a match for any cat, balls bigger than they are, and they love to chase.

I cant believe it. I caught an opposum, a stray cat and one of her twenty cats. I cant believe that with all of her cats that roam my yard at night I could only catch one. I released the possum and I am taking the two cats to the animal shelter in a little bit.

I need more traps.

BTW
I am not telling her that I trapped it either. She will have to figure it out.

Toss the possum thru her cat door, lol.

GTS,

I feel ur anger on the cats. I hate cats as well but if you do anything hasty like killing the cats you will just get in trouble.

Well, first of all where in FL are you. Actually Rayman's joke suggestion of gators is a possibility. If you love gators that is. I heard that FL residents can apply for a licnese to keep gators for $50 I heard. So if the cats so happen to get eaten by your pet gator, it's not your problem as the gator was in your pond and in your property.

What I do usually to the cat in my yards is I trap them. Then I bring them to the animalm shelter. If the cat is tagged they will contact the owner and she will come and have to pay a fee before she can pick up the cat. If she has 20 cats and say the bill is $50 per cat. That is $1000 she will be spending if you turn in all her 20 cats. LOL! But IMO I like the gator idea better.

But if you really don’t want a gator, I suggest electric fencing. My friend has it around his pond here and it's "roasted" a couple squierels here and there. But that wont keep the cats out of your property. That will just keep them out of the pond. Trap them and turn them in or trap them and throw them to a gator you see in the canals. LOL!
Agreed.

I've raised bullies all my life. Keep them around your family, not tied up on a chain and you'll have a loyal protector. Work with them young.....and they will make a great family pet.

My dog use to kill 2-3 cats a month when he was a year old or so. Pretty soon the cats learned not to come into my yard. Couple nights ago my dogs had a cat stuck up in the tree where about 30-40 birds live. Cat was horrified! I had to climb up in the tree and get it down SOB scratched me in the face 2 times. I took the cat to its home and told the owners that if there cat shows up missing to go down to the local animal shelter cause that is where I will be taking it next time I take it from one of my trees. I have 4 dogs all of them are mutts. Biggest one is a Rott/Dobie mix weighs about 110-125lbs and can pick birds out of tree branches that are well over 6' high. I highly reccomend one of the bully breeds wether it be a American Pittbull, Staffy or a American Bulldog. Make sure that when you choose which breed is right for you that if the dog comes from a breeder that you get a health gurantee and that they are breeding for sound temparment.

Dude cheapest and most efficient option is an Air Rifle. Quick, efficient and silent... Just make sure you dont leave a cat injured or else you will be in trouble. Also if your worried about hitting anything else, it wont puncture wood and the like.
