Kieranuk: that water cannon thing looks cool!
What will they think of next?
It wouldn't work in my yard though. Our German Shepherd loves grabbing and
running around with the sprinkler in her mouth, so I don't think that cannon would last very long.
It might be worth trying though.

Yeah I think it looks good but I havent heard anyone say if it works or not. If you had those annoying sale people coming to the door you could set one up right beside it so they wouldnt be visiting again :D.

Umm. Sorry to be against this and all. But you all seem to have forgotten about the neightbour, and are focusing on the cats, remeber, it's the cats natural instincts to do the things they do, it's your ****ing stupid neighbours fault for forcing the cats to live where they do.

Here are some of my ideas:

1: shoot your neighbour
2: feed your neighbour to a gator
3: feed your neighbour to a dog
4: kidnap your neighbour and mail her to africa with no return adress

seriously though, maybe you could call animal control, She probably didnt pay to get her cats all rabie shots yearly etc etc, maybe animal control will take her cats away as they are a risk to humans.

OR! you could buy a pond with venomus fish, and simply let the cats catch and eat! Not your fault AT ALL!

:D:D:D:D

if your hell bent on killing the cats, get a gator lol.

Btw I might buy a bunch of those motion water canons and set them up around my property and invite people over simply because i'm a terrific ass, or i'll set them up along the side of the road and when people are walking by BAM! I'll hook up like a fire truck pump and it'll take out their legs. BwaAHAHAHAHA

oh my god, neighbors giving u rules on how loud u can listen to ur music, i would tell her to F off, if her cats doesnt stay off ur yard i kill em all.
well for the cat part if u get a dog and ur dog kills her cat, then ur dog is going to get killed....

Lure the whole group over with Catnip, then feed them all a ton of laxative chocolates, then spray them with your hose. Let them go into their nice house to dry off a bit, and shiznit all over.

As soon as they scatter from your property, you can release you're new dog into his new backyard ;)

End of Story :)

GTS - I'm glad to see you go with a humane option instead of some of the cruel and idiotic suggestions. Couple of points I'd like to share:

1) Taking them to the animal shelter is great. If she wants them, she pays. It will stop when it really starts to hurt the pocketbook.

2) Find out county laws on the number of cats you can own, she is probably over her limit.

3) The two hybrid cats she owns may be illegal in your area. Find out, if so, call the animal control and have them taken from her.

4) Document things: photos and videos. It will help if you ever have a huge issue with her and have to go to court.

5) Dogs are great, but a lot of work! They are expensive to feed and for vet bills as well. They also need to be walked, trained, groomed, loved, and this takes time and effort. If you are serious about a dog, want one for more than just cat hunting. Adopt a dog if you get one, why pay for an animal when you can rescue one and get what you want anyway?!? Plus, just remember, if the cat gets a good scratch or bite in on your dog, you have to pay for emergency vet care, and that can also be pricey. Consider breeds such as shepards, border collies, cattle dogs, rotties, pits, bulldogs, and mastiffs. Big dogs for the most part, but they can kick some cat ass. The border collie and aussie cattle dogs are much smaller, but tough as nails and the smartest dogs you can find. They love a job, and chasing cats would fit the bill! Oh, and be prepared for barking and picking up poop from your yard daily.

6) The animal shelter may be inconvenient to drive to on a regular basis, but it's better than getting arrested for doing something stupid. I hate cats MORE than the next guy, but hit her where it hurts, in the pocketbook!

Good luck to you and keep us up to date.
