GTS - I'm glad to see you go with a humane option instead of some of the cruel and idiotic suggestions. Couple of points I'd like to share:

1) Taking them to the animal shelter is great. If she wants them, she pays. It will stop when it really starts to hurt the pocketbook.

2) Find out county laws on the number of cats you can own, she is probably over her limit.

3) The two hybrid cats she owns may be illegal in your area. Find out, if so, call the animal control and have them taken from her.

4) Document things: photos and videos. It will help if you ever have a huge issue with her and have to go to court.

5) Dogs are great, but a lot of work! They are expensive to feed and for vet bills as well. They also need to be walked, trained, groomed, loved, and this takes time and effort. If you are serious about a dog, want one for more than just cat hunting. Adopt a dog if you get one, why pay for an animal when you can rescue one and get what you want anyway?!? Plus, just remember, if the cat gets a good scratch or bite in on your dog, you have to pay for emergency vet care, and that can also be pricey. Consider breeds such as shepards, border collies, cattle dogs, rotties, pits, bulldogs, and mastiffs. Big dogs for the most part, but they can kick some cat ass. The border collie and aussie cattle dogs are much smaller, but tough as nails and the smartest dogs you can find. They love a job, and chasing cats would fit the bill! Oh, and be prepared for barking and picking up poop from your yard daily.

6) The animal shelter may be inconvenient to drive to on a regular basis, but it's better than getting arrested for doing something stupid. I hate cats MORE than the next guy, but hit her where it hurts, in the pocketbook!

Good luck to you and keep us up to date.

This is very good advice for the most part.
The portion about the smartest dogs I have a problem with but that would be nit picking.
The only part of this reply I take issue with is where you say "If the cat gets a good scratch or bite in on your dog, you have to pay for emergency vet care...."
NOPE. If your dog is on your property and gets scratched/bit by her cat SHE pays for all vet bills incurred.
Oh and by the way, for all the people who thought my suggestion of a pellet gun was cruel, I had a similar problem and the pellet gun solution was made to me by our chief of police.(worked like a charm)

Ok guys heres an update:

I checked the limit for cats in my county its 8 unless you have a special breeders certification. The guy at animal shelter is running a check to see if she has it. He said he will call me back later. He said the cats of hers that I have trapped have not been fixed which leads to another problem even if they can remove her cats the remaing 8 could breed and repopulate the area he said this is a common ocuurance! And they cant force her to fix them until the third offense! So this is not a problem that will be fixed overnight. As far as the two large hybrid cats go yes you need a permit to keep them and yes she most likely has the permit. As far as a dog goes guys dont worry. I have been considering getting one for awhile and when I do I plan to take care of it as best as I possibly can.

Also I will have to look into a pellet gun just something to send them on their way.

Hi, you should buy an AMERICAN STANFORD, they are like Pit bull, a little bigger, but not as dangerous towards people. They really like to play with cats... jajajajaja.

They are great companions.

You mean "American Staffordshire Terrier", and it is a Pitbull. Its the name they were given when they split the bloodline about 70 years ago so they could be AKC registered. Same dog, but they have tried to breed the aggressiveness out of them over the years.

I dunno where this convo went I just read the first part, but as a fellow floridian I will warn you if you dog attacks her cat your dog will most likely be what gets introuble b/c you are supposed to be the responisible owner blah blah. I know this not from personal experience but from a close friend of mine who went through an ordeal cuse his dog attacked a few dogs and cat and in the end the dog was taken away. So if you do that make sure it doesnt attack her cats cuse it will come on you. As for dogs I had a few german shepeard and loved them, they are great dogs and great companions =)

If you can trap the cross breeds then I would think that would be a good deturent. Those things are pretty expensive.

My dad took care of an annoying neighbor once, my mom was hosting a baby shower one day and my dad wanted to make sure that they wouldn't be disturbing us, so he went and "tuned up" his chainsaw. needless to say she didn't bother us anymore and ended up moving away a few months later.

LEave the Cats a delicious milk saucer with some ANTI FREEZE in it... ur neighbor deserves it

Damm im happy i dont live there . i would have cought and fed all those damm cats to my python. God i hate neighbors like that.

Looks like this thread got dug up again? Having Beef with your neighbors is one of the crappiest things that can happen, it is usally a huge headache and the only way to end it more often than not is someone having to move. Just remember not to do anything stupid or illegal you don't want to live pissed of at your neighbors forever. I just hope this never happens to me!!
