So i had a siberian sturgeon for at least a good two months now with no issues whatsoever. His personality was to swim in spirals and barrel rolls throughout the tank was his normal behavior. But now just today I looked at him and he was just laying at the bottom, which he never did and it was always an active sturgeon so I never saw him rest at the bottom before, not only that, his right eye is now opaque white!! The only things that I did to the tank was feed them fish flakes instead of there original bloodworms yesterday, and added new fish. So any helpful tips will be helpful!! Thank you for your time!!

My bad the ph was 8.4. Which he lived throughout the 2 months till now and I am trying at the moment to lower the ph. But otherwise here's pics of the poor fella, he's in very bad shape. I might just decide to put him out of his misery. temp is pretty warm for them, especially if you weren't getting proper o2 into the water

IME they should never stop swimming thats a very bad sign
and if they are ever just laying upside down, its pretty much done for them

The flipping part. swimming in spirals, yea I first thought that wasn't natural and contacted the fish sellers. Gunpowderaquatics by the way. And they said theres did flips all the time and each one had a different personality. So I assumed the spiral motion was natural in young sturgeons.
When I had my sturgeons, they all perished the same way. They were fine and growing well for the first 2 months. Then one started to do flips and spirals, and return back to normal. He did this for a week before finally perishing. The other one also did this, and I believe it was due to neurological damage from keeping it in too warm water. I kept the water at 70-75 degrees.
