STURGEON

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yes, sterlet sturgeon would be the way to go for an aquarium, but they only seem to be sold at 3-4 inches and they take forever to grow..

catching one is Hard work bro and you can find some small ones in the delta but its a all day and night trip or longer. 6th ave Aquarium in Sf has 3-4 " sturgeons and 12"+ from time to time.

I wouldn't even go with a sterlet, let alone any type of sturgeon. They are slow growers but it is common for them to easily reach 4'+. Unless you plan on converting your pool into a pond I wouldn't get one.

Apparently the OP doesn't really care about that, he will keep asking the question until someone will give him the answer he expects. Quite a few of these on MFK lately.
