illegally lol. All species of sturgeons are illegal to catch. (blasted russians.... after hte USSR fell apart, they stopped the sturgeon breeding program which means higher priced caviar lol)

I saw Sturgeon fishing on tv. They were using trout as bait. ANyways there is a species that does go around florida waters. Very Rare. one washed up by Tampa a couple years ago.

whats a good supplier of sturgeons in the US i can find adriatic all day long but i want other kinds and even an albino if possible we are gonna start digging a outdoor pond before this fall and i want to find some sturgeon to put in it


i know i ask about alot of things but this is the first house that we have owned so we are going all out in it

the ones in Florida aren't as rare as you may think, people have been getting hurt by them jumping into boats a lot recently. One guy got hit by one while he was jet skiing, just jump up in front of him. I think it broke his face.
If you want to go hunting for them this all happened in the Saint John's river, not sure what part though.

I wanna go and just look for them. I guess they would be atlantic, unless there is a gulf.

has anyone ever heard of "dwarf sturgeon"....my lfs sells them for 30 bucks.....
