It seems like the Japanese love to show off their heaters. I see them often in the front, horizontal. :screwy:
very cool setups.

LOL. They're not heaters man. They're tanning lights.

ok, ok, you gotta help me. TANNING BEDS?!?!? fish that need tanning beds are too high maintenance. I guess I am not ready for the next level. Thanks for the clarity. Ignorance was bliss.

LOL, next they'll want a day at the spa.

Man thanks for the pics and the link........that third pic down is an amazing tank.......

that one little blood parrot gets like 60 gallons to itself and then four aros have to share the other 60
thats just wrong

this makes no sense to me whatsoever...all the arrows on one half and 1 sole parrot fish on the other. am i missing something.

anyways, those are some nice tanks. mw want.:D

I think the idea is to limit the tank space.....in order to remove aggression.....this way the fish keep bumping into each other, and can't get into the head to tail aggression stance.

Then gradually increase area, as the aros get used to each other....

Ideally by the time the divider is removed, they aros are co-excisting without fights at all.....

Why is it that it's cool to have all those fish cramped in Japan, but if it's someone in the states who has the same set up, it's "overcrowded" or they need an upgrade?
