So just got my package in from ADA, very excited. I settled for this for use as the top layer, as for the bottom layer I think I may use the Eco-Complete everybody recomended.
Is that a good idea?

Very glad to see you got some ADA soil... Personally use ada amazonia II soil and love it... I would go as far to say 99% of LFS' in HK that display planted tanks all use ADA soil as well...

And adding the correct liquid ferts will help tour tank go a long way...

Thanks. I definitely couldn't resist testing out the ADA as well and it was in fact a great choice. Any suggestions on what nutrients and what brand?
