Should i leave it barebottom? sand, gravel, or those big river rocks?

And if i do sand what color?
i will have either nothing in the tank or alota driftwood.

what you plan on keeping??

Personally i like substrate in my aqauriums. All in preference though!

I would imagine you are talking about what to do with your new tank that is coming. I would either go sand or gravel, I just think a barebottom would look cheap. I am a huge fan of driftwood too.

My friend just picked up no like like 100 peices of d/w they range from 2ft to 8ft..

Also i'm gona be keeping these fish

dats
arowanas
clown knife
Pbass maybe
And if i buy this asian spotted rtc he will go in there.

i was thinking black sand, with a black painted back. and some drift wood but im up for other things.

Sounds like the tank is going to be good looking, again I dont think you can go wrong with lots of driftwood. With the black sand and background, that should bring the colors out in your fish really well.

Pea gravel has the natural look too. I like the natural look.

I think black sand would look artificial to you after a while. It will look cool at first, but then...
