Successful Parrot x Parrot Breeding!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The fry are still doing well.

The mother parrot keeps sucking them up, and spitting them back out in the front corner of the tank.

Seems she's learned the safest place to keep them.

Thatsa strange mix of fish, parrots, africans, brackish fish, CA cichlid etc.

Yeap, 'twas an experiment that turned out much better than I thought.

However, the brackish fish will be moved soon to my brackish tank once they're large enough to survive there and require the higher salinities.

I have a lot of aquariums, so if any species appears stressed in that aquarium, I can transfer them to their appropriate environment with just a little acclimation.

Great logic considering a yellow lab (african) can't hybridize with an american cichlid and when is the last time you've heard of a scat hybridizing with a cichlid? Smoke another one..
