None of those would be good all of them get too large, require more space than a 40g and require high maintenance.

exactly. ty. i think she likes the milk snake idea. she has some time to figure it out. the next show is mid december.

what all would she need for a milk?

because here it can take a while, and google is instantaneous.

basically just aspen shavings, a water bowl, and a hide log. then a heat lamp that gives the amount of heat required by the species of milk snake you select.
