Suggestions for a 55g Bichir tank.

Can anyone name some africans that would work with three 4-5" senegal bichirs in my 55g barebottom tank? There will be some rockwork on one side of the tank, but the rest will be bare.


Even just one single cichlid if not a few...

stump just warning you I added a sen into my lake Malawi tank, back when I kept Africans, and he had his throat ripped out in less than 6 hours

You could make an Ancient African Tank in there you will have your Senegals thenan Elephant Fish (preferably St. Peter's Elephant Nose) and some butterfly fish (any size)

i wouldn't trust my birchirs with any african. besides maybe a front, i wouldn't suggest them with a CA/SA besides a pbass and maybe a port. thats just me. they are worth more to me than putting them in harms way.
