Suggestions on Commercial show tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think if you want this to be an attraction and not just something thats in the back, then you will regret only getting a 55 later. I don't know that you need to go massive like 200 gallons but a 75 or 125 would give you room to have a group of large schooling fish, and a shoal of smaller fish. Like 4 Angles and 20 neons.

It's ANGEL fish, not angLE fish! :nilly:

I really like the aesthetics of this tank. Colorful schooling fish, corys. Red head geos are really nice too but maybe could be replaced with something like clown loaches or a smaller sa/ca cichlid like firemouths.

A gold saum GT would be nice too. I remember seeing a vid where the GT was incorporated into a community tank with small fishies...:screwy:

I see people put that all the time and Ive always wanted to put...Whats an angle fish? All I see in my head is a bunch of right, acute, and obtuse angles with fins swimming around.:screwy:

thank you for the replies. unfortunately do to the space we can only do a 55 gallon we can have it any larger than that. Its actually going in a place between a beer keg cool and a stair case so it has a wierd angle and not alot of room to play. So we are putting a 55 and making the angle and the rest of the area look like a solid wall so it takes the focus away from the "dead space" (staircase and cooler)

Haha. I see it a lot, but before I even pointed it out, I did a google search just in case I was missing something. :D

Perhaps rainbow fish. Their colorful, lots of different types to choose from, and generally not shy.

Boesemani Rainbows, bright colors not that shy and they will 'follow' people once they get used to their surroundings.
