Fancy gold fish. They are hardy, colorful, slow moving, low mantenance, and elegant in their simplicity. throw some electric blue lobsters a couple cat fish and a pleco and your good to go.

Sorry that africans aren't a choice. Not only are they colorful and active, I think they could tolerate and accidental spill of tequila and a Corona or two.

Ok you have to decide what kinda movement you want in the tank. Fast or slow. Fast do some dwarf rainbows with a good light. If you want something slow get some pearl gouramis and tetras to fill it out. pic the rest of the tankmates accordingly(bottom feeders, inverts, etc.)

since ur going with the classy lounge bar, theres no way u could have anything other than a planted tank to match the aesthetics of the bar. fish wise, id do altum angles, corrydoras, and the rainbowfish as above. that would be amazing, but personaly id think a bunch of tipsy people would rather see a hi-fin red wolf fish lol also very nice fish but it would give the tank that exotic feel plus you could do live feedings during hours to keep guests interested, and honestly what drunk person could resist that? lol

id go with light coloured sand substrate with a central piece of bogwood - stocking would be bosemani rainbows and clown loaches. maybe a nice plec such as L91 - three beacon plec???

I'd go with rainbow fish and/or angels.

I think your best bet for a tank that size would be a reef tank

+1 This would be your best bet but you might wanna mod the tank lids so you can lock them down or something you know how drunks get someone might decided the fish are thirsty.
