I have yet to see any shops in this area label any of their dats as "Sumatran".Bumping this post for the Datnoid Fanatics here!
I found a pair advertised as Sumatra for $750 each or both for $1000...
Then on kijiji 3-$90. I don’t get it??

.....and I wasn't referring to the marketplace.I was talking shops in general.
I have just bought 5 sumatra dats for 450 Euro included shipping.
The are about 4 inches .
A few days before i bought some Borneo dats at the same size for 39 Euro each.
So there is a price gap in europe top.
So far i like both.
Interesting to see how they develope with time.

It seems that the sumatra dats are more stable than the other.
All 5 sumatra are almost complete stable with a nice yellow color.
The Borneo dats are not stable.
Maybe that has other reasons i dont know.
