Please help, i need to get this rock out of my bathroom.

Is this for S/W?

1) yes for F/W

2) Yes

3) Bulkhead cracked (wrap a strip of paper towel around the threads to try and isolate / locate the leak.

4) Looks about right running.

#3. It looks like I see purple primer on the NPT(I think that's what it's called. The barb that the hose is on) piece? If it's glued on, you might have to replace the whole bulkhead. If it's not, you should be able to remove the barb and put some Teflon tape around the threads, put it back in and you should be good to go. That's assuming it's threaded and not a slip fit. LOL

It's going to be for saltwater, but its running just plain tap water to test the plumbing before i trust 90 gallons of saltwater through it....

And the barb thing is a slip fit, were abouts do you think it would be leaking? the threaded part seems to be entirely dry... the water seems to be beading up from the tube.

thank you for your help.

Is that not a trickle of water coming over the point closest to you in the pic ? (Point on the barb).

On the vinyl tube? yeah, the water is coming up from it.

Gonna try something...

i pushed the tube up more and tightened down the clamp a bit more, and fired it up. gotta see if it still leaks.

So it's still leaking...

Everything above that is dry, the water must be coming from up the hose.

I pushed it up as high as i could get it, and tightened it as tight as i could too, but water still finds a way.

How do you think i can fix this?

and adding salt will stop the bubbling?

Is this not a trickle of water coming down the barb fitting ? If it's not, then I would get the next size down, clear tube. If it's hard to get on the barb, use a blow dryer to soften the tubing and it should go on.
