Sump issues (now with pictures!)

There's a hole there. flash just overpowered it.
 
Ha, was trying to get the hose off the barb to check to see if anything was somehow destroying the seal and i managed to jiggle the intake pipe off, instantly water started pouring down.

That ball valve saved my life
 
If that intake pipe wasn't pushed in all the way you think that could be the problem?
 
not to be a smart .ss but why didn't you just hard plum the hole thing? the way you have it now you wont get the max out of you drain.
 
Found the leak. part of the seal connecting the barb to the bulkhead had a hole, i put some mighty putty on it and testing now to see if that was all.

now i just need to figure out why its bubbling like a chemistry set.
 
Why what is...the water going into the sump from the overflow? I think thats because of the Durso standpipe...its normal I think. That air hole at the top of the standpipe is letting air in so it works like it does....the air has to come out somewhere.
