I am building a sump thanks to many good ideas from this site. One thing I wasn't able to really find was a good pump for a sump. It will be for a 135 72x24x18 aquarium. I saw the little giant and rio or ricco ones searching the forums, but could find little else. If you know any good pumps and where to buy em please let me know, Thanks.

I use submersible pumps in my sumps. A lot easier to work with. I like the pondmaster pumps. I run 2 mag18's on one system and a mag 24 on another. Petsolutions.com has a good price on them or ebay.

Awesome. I think submersible is what I was thinking of and didn't know what they were. Thanks.

eheim compact 5000's are what i will be using when my tank eventually arrives. they seem like solidly built pumps and they are quiet considering how much water they push.

I have used both Mag Drives and Quiet Ones. I honestly prefer the Quiet ones. They are much quieter than the Mags.

Thanks guys. I was searching for the wrong thing, that's why I was having troubles. Think I found what I am going with. Quite ones are a good price and quiter is better since it's in my TV room.
