Not t be rude but I see so much bypass water in that filter it's not even funny. Find a 90g for the sump and a 30g to cut up for baffles you show have under 100 for the sump and 300 at most for a pump that is serious high end and you can probably buy media aswell for that price.

Seriously building a sump is not hard if you want to build one there are may people on this site that can walk you threw it. Mind you, you will get alot of different opinions on how to build it so if that is the route you want to go plan it out for media, pump, and mechanical

I am I guess the easiest way would be to just throw cans on it and be done but I'm looking at the oeverall picture as this will probably be the only big tank i'll own so ease of maintenance, energy efficiency, and what I would actually be able to build, will be factors

all i have to say is proper planning, thinking about future if possible, draw out the ideas and than last execute the plans... always different tank and stands makes things little bit different.. good luck and keep up posted...
