Dose it to 1%. I don't know offhand how many tablespoons per gallon that is. Or you could wait and see what antibiotics you can source locally tomorrow.I always do a drip acclimation of 1-2 hours depending on what the fish is. Done a few 3-4 hours. Ended up doing a 1 hour this tine.

Well time for an update. Ended up mixing the salt in a little one gallon bowl I had on hand until it dissolved then dumped it and repeated until all the salt was in the tank.
So now onto the sun catfish. Before I put the salt in his tail looked really red and I think I could see some bone :/. Now this morning it looks less red, probably can still see bone since it's only been a night but I'm so excited that it looked less red . This is a good sign that he'll pull through right?
