sunfish compatibly

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Ok but can I keep a rock bass with them?
Yes of course. They share the same waters. Rock bass tend to stay in faster moving waters and bluegills tend to sit in the calmer areas.

Sunfish are the backbone of the ecosystem. Every predator in the water and some in the sky feed primarily on them.

dude i would say if you have enough filtraton you can do it but my friend had rock bass and they would rip at all the other ones he had largies and perch. the one thing is, i caught a just a hair less than 2 lb rock bass and he was 15 inches, up here in milwaukee they are massive. just note that they get big, and produce a tom of waste and may kill your sunnie

In Western Wisconsin the fishing is crap. Biggest gill i caught was only 8". Lol.doesnt matter what size they taste great!
here n milwaukee you can go to the lakes and there are gills almost as bg as a plate but bass fishing sucks. smallmouths are small, you have to go north to get em and largies are dinks. the salmon run in the fall and the steelhead in spring
